In a recent ruling by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Calfornia, NVIDIA prevailed in its defense of a $100 million dollar lawsuit by 3DFX Interactive which stated that NVIDIA did not pay fair value for assets acquired during its purchase.  3DFX claimed that this unfair action was a direct cause of its financial woes and resulted in its claim for bankruptcy.  The court found that claimant was not able to substantiate its claim.
